Simple, understated elegance

The entrance to One Thames City has two water features to showcase the building as people walk past or approach the foyer.

The simple, understated elegance of a pool water feature between the segregated entry and exit routes of the building provides a focal point instantly drawing the eye and affords a distinguished feel to visitors as they arrive and depart.

The ‘D’ shaped pool, with three submerged nozzles in the centre of the feature which generate a gentle disturbance on the water’s surface, is 7.3m long x 5.2m wide.

The second feature, a 4.2m circular pool that has one central submerged nozzle to generate a gentle disturbance on the water’s surface is located under the Port Cochere at the entrance foyer creates a welcoming, walkable space anchored by the eye-catching water feature centrepiece.

Both water features are supplied by a common plant room in the basement with shared water holding tank and filtration system. Water from the feature is also returned to the plant room via a series of pipes and strainers.
