The Jellicoe Water Gardens on the River Gade lie in the centre of Hemel Hempstead.
The Water Gardens were created by renowned landscape designer Geoffrey Jellicoe in 1962. In 2017, a restoration project of the much-loved Gardens was completed, returning them to their former glory. There are several water features including a canal, a fountain and a weir.
The floating display fountain is located in the lake with the controls located in a GRP kiosk located in a landscaped area near the end of the lake. The fountain is fitted with a Sceptre type nozzle to give a maximum water jet height of 3.0m and maximum diameter of 2.4m that will provide an interesting visual display for visitors to the gardens.
In the evening time when the light levels drop the jet can be illuminated via its onboard white lights which are controlled via a timer within the kiosk.
